Homemade Foods

We have many food gift items to bring to your Thanksgiving table, including fresh apple, pumpkin and kalua chocolate pies. Try out Kathy's chocolate dipped pretzels or pick up some of the homemade jams. There's something for everyone's sweet tooth.

Crocheted and Knitted Gifts

One of our most popular gift items is hand crocheted and knitted slippers. You'll also find other crocheted and knitted gift items such as this fun teddy bear, hotpads, gloves, and scarves. Also, felted purses are popular gift items.

Fresh or Dried Wreaths for the Holidays

Several vendors bring different styles of wreaths. In addition to the traditional fir wreaths (12", 18" and larger) we have pine cone, fabric, and floral wreaths to decorate for the holidays.

And there's always potted flowers for you to choose from, including paperwhites and Christmas cactus.

2008 INFORMATION SHEET

WELCOME VENDORS
We are looking for vendors for our 5th annual holiday bazaar. We are committed to a quality hand-crafted show of local artisans and will make every attempt to prevent duplication of crafts. We are looking for craft items handmade by YOU. We currently are not looking for jewelry vendors but we are especially interested in outdoor items and bath and beauty products.

Last year, our three day bazaar was a success so we’re going to do it again and be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 20 – 22, 2008, the weekend before Thanksgiving. Vendors will be able to bring merchandise Wednesday (19^th) night between 4-7 pm to help set up items. Unsold items must be picked up Saturday (22^nd) evening before 8 pm.

Signs help sell your crafts. Feel free to make signs detailing your crafts and bring them during setup. We will make every effort to use them to enhance your display. If you have a special display unit for your crafts, please bring it.

Each individual craft item must be priced with string tags or some kind of tag that can be cut off when purchasers check out. Please price your items with prices in 25-cent increments (no $1.99, but $2.00 or $1.75). No sticky tags. This is a boutique-style bazaar so not all of your items will be displayed together.

Vendor Fees: Before October 31^st, a $35 non-refundable vendor fee

After November 1^st, a $50 non-refundable vendor fee

PLUS a separate $50 refundable deposit returned upon completion of four (4) volunteer hours at the bazaar. Payment of vendor fee plus separate deposit are due with application. (All non-accepted application deposits will be refunded.)

In return, we will promote your Crafts and Art via newspaper ads, flyers, signage, postcards, press releases and the internet. As always, the best advertising is word of mouth by you, our vendors. We will have flyers and postcards available for you to send out to family, friends, and neighbors. Ask for more. The more you send out, the more people will attend the bazaar.

Our application deadline was October 1st, but we have a couple spots still open.

We're especially looking for a bath products vendor. We also could possibly fit in candle products and sewing creations. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any more jewelry artists.
